Bittis, George Age 85, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 6, 2018 surrounded by family. George is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr & Elizabeth Bittis; sister, Helen Fuller; son, Robert Bittis; grandson, Rusty Bittis; brother-in-law, Richard Iverson. He is survived by his sister, Irene Iverson; brother, James (Monica) Bittis; daughters, Robin (Ron) Wodziak, Cheri (Matthew) Hoffmann, Casie (Brandon) Sample, Candi (Joshua) Mandel; daughter in-law, Wendy Bittis; grandchildren, Judd (Alicia) Bittis, Mitchell & Melissa Wodziak, Rossell & Brooklynn Sample, and David Mandel; great grandchildren, Lacie Parkos; Brodey, Ella, & Jackson Bittis; great great grandson, Easton Mohs. George was a retired shoe salesman from Kenny Shoes. He was a resident of the Oaks of Lake George where he loved to play cards and bingo with all of his friends. He had a love for word finds and could solve an entire book in one day. George enjoyed teasing people just to see their reaction and make them smile. Services will be held 11AM Sunday, February 11th at the Fridley VFW Post 363, 1040 Osborn Road NE, Fridley.
