Fuggiti, Nancy Pieri (Johnson) Age 88, died on January 15, 2018. Born February 9, 1929 in Minneapolis to Maria and Palmiero Pieri. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Aldo Pieri (Irene). Survived by children, Christopher Johnson (Loretta), Victoria Izquierdo (Arturo), Perry Pieri, Patrick Pieri; sister, Bettina Pieri (Terry Johnson); grandchildren, Michele Moore (Lance), Lann Briel (Christian), Monica Bogema (Jason), Dylan Izquierdo (Rachel), Jesse Izquierdo (Sara), Mandon Johnson, Sabrene Coyle (Josh); great grandchildren, Makayla, Hailey, Jayden, Zach, Alex, Carter, Mia, Ella, Noah, Jonah, Ava, and arriving soon, Wesley Christopher; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that Nancy held close to heart. Special thanks to the entire wonderful staff at Lake Minnetonka Shores in Spring Park for their loving care and commitment to our mother. Mom viewed them as an extension of her family. Nancy raised her children as a single mother in Golden Valley without much money but with a lot of soul. She was as perfect as a mother can get, yet so much more defined her.Nancy enjoyed her work at Nortronics. She was a excellent gardener, cook, dancer; a reader of world events; a lover of music and life and a "Cool Nonna." She lived with an open heart and mind until the day she died. She will be forever missed but her beauty and legacy of love and inclusion will always surround us. Following her wishes, a small, private family celebration of Nancy's life was held.
