Eberlein, Frances Jean Our beloved mother, Frances, passed away January 24, 2018. She will be dearly missed. Born to Florence and Fredrick Peach on May 16, 1930, she grew up in Minneapolis where she met her future husband, Jack Eberlein. During their fifty-five years of marriage they raised five daughters, Gerri Sayler, Dianne Eberlein, Lorri Eberlein, Nancy Whipple and Annette Eberlein. We are all grateful for the creative spirit she brought to our childhood, such as celebrating Frankenstein's Birthday, hosting Take Away Bingo during the holidays and making Christmas piñatas. She had a heart big enough for all of us. She is survived by her sister Rozann Lowe as well as her daughters, four grandchildren (Brian, Collin, Sara and Rebecca) and four great grandchildren (Wesley, Peach, Harold, and William). Frances and Jack lived life to its fullest. They built their dream house, explored the history of Minnesota through road trips and created a wildlife habitat in their back yard. Frances loved gardening and participated in the local Master Gardeners for many years. She possessed curiosity and a lively intelligence. Frances returned to college in her early thirties and received a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota. Her deep interest in children with special needs led her to earn a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of St. Thomas at age 55. She devoted her career to the Anoka Hennepin School District where she helped children with special needs reach their full potential. Frances and Jack spent many hours creating adaptive devices for her beloved students. As a teacher and occupational therapist she touched many lives. A private family memorial service is planned.
