Joy Annelle (Tink) Michel

Michel, Joy Annelle (nee Tink) Born January 1, 1933 in Red Deer, Alberta Canada, died January 21, 2018 at age 85 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease at the Estates of Bloomington, surrounded in prayer by family and friends. Preceded in death by Rev. Walter and Kathryn Tink and grandsons, Kyle Kirby and Mark Ohnsorg. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Joe Michel; children, Renee (John) Herman, Dana Jo (Greg) Ohnsorg, Daniel (Ivy) Michel and Debra (Kent) Kirby; grandchildren, Bradley (Rachael) Herman, Janelle (Brad) Kujath, Brian (Shelley) Ohnsorg, Monica Ohnsorg, Hannah (Tyler) Underdown, Rachel Kirby; Aidan, Aldan, Ainsly and Aubry Michel; great-grandchildren, Emily, Sophia and Samuel Ohnsorg; other family members and friends. Special thanks to Joy's Stephen Minister, Shirley Schneider (Colonial Church), Linda Hinz, Mary Jo Paulson, Joan Owens, Esther and Ken Gorlinsky Dr. Scott Fairbairn, Heartland Hospice and the staff at the Estates and wonderfully caring CNAs. Joy was a wonderful church organist and pianist, and an outstanding accompanist for choirs, ensembles and soloists. Music, family and friends were her life's blessings.
