Elliott, Irving B. Born November 13 1924 in Minneapolis, died January 21 2018 at his apartment at Village Shores in Richfield MN. Preceded in death by wife of 55 years, Lois, in 2007. Survived by his three daughters Deb Elliott-Pearson (Brian), Becky Elliott (John Morrissey, dec.) and Sarah Kendall (John). He also loved his grandchildren, Carrie Woerdeman (Adam), Daniel Church, Carly Irwin (John), David Kendall, Lillie Kendall and three great - grandchildren, Hailey and Nathan Woerdeman and Edith Irwin. He graduated from the U of MN with a degree in chemical engineering (Alpha Chi Sigma) and was a WW2 vet. Irv was a pioneer in the field of computers and retired from Honeywell as a Computer Systems Analyst. Irv was a true Renaissance Man whose pursuits included painting, pottery, poetry, music, woodworking, computers and travel. He was loved by his friends and family for his generosity, his smile, his can - do attitude, and his love of life. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorials preferred to Calvary Lutheran Church or Fairview Hospice. Service 2 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3901 Chicago Avenue South, Minneapolis, followed by a reception.
