White, Jean M. 82, of Maple Grove, passed away Sun., Jan. 21, 2018. Born May 3, 1935 in Columbia, SD. She came to the Twin Cities in 1962. She raised her children in Brooklyn Center, eventually settling in Maple Grove and wintering in Tuscon. Jean spent many Summers in McGregor over the years. Jean was an active member of the Robbinsdale Order of the Eastern Star for 60+ years. Jean is preceded in death by son, Jeff Hamilton, daughter-in-law, Nancy Hamilton, and husband, Lee Vann. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lee (Dean) Smith, granddaughters, Ciara (Scott) Ruikkie, Jaclyn (Chris) Cannelongo, and Samantha Smith, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Jeanette (Eugene) Dennert, husband, Tom White, and former husband, Gene Hamilton. She was a loving mother and grandmother to numerous children and grandchildren from her 2nd and 3rd marriages. A Memorial Service will be held Thur., Jan. 25, 2018 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (7401 County Rd 101, Maple Grove) at 3pm.
