Dostal, Jerome A. "Jerry" age 92 of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side on Jan. 13, 2018. Jerry was born April 18, 1925 in Dodge Center, MN. Jerry served in the US Army during World War II. Preceded in death by his loving wife LaVonne, both parents, and 3 brothers. Survived by his children Kathy Miller (Steve) and Linda Lillard; grandchildren Jeramie, Tony, Jasmine, Melissa; 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at The Minneapolis Veterans Home, 5101 Minnehaha Avenue South, Building 19 (Call for directions 612-548-5702) on Tuesday Jan. 23, 2018, at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
