Braun, Robert "Bob age 86, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully the afternoon of January 16th at his home surrounded by his wife, Karen and Son, Chris. Bob graduated from Virginia High School and served his country in the US Air Force. He was employed by Schneiderman's Furniture in Meadowlands, MN, retiring after 40 years. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jeffrey Alan and his mother, Madeline Braun. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Karen; son, Christopher (Ramona); grandchildren Markus, Mara, Travis, Kyle and Eric; daughter-in-law, MaryBeth; cousins, Judy (Larry) Kane, Pat (Rosie), Kenneth Jr. (Pat) Harrington. A special thank you to the ICU staff at Maple Grove, North Memorial Hospital, the J. A. Wedum Hospice for their comfort care, and Pastors Peter and Karen from Lord of Life for their spiritual guidance, love and care. Please join the family in a Celebration of Bob's Life at Lord of Life Church, 7401 county Road 101, Maple Grove on Thursday, January 25th at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 10 AM.
