Becker, Carol Ann age 63 of Maplewood Jan 12, 2018 The extended Becker- Peterson family lost Carol to influenza. Carol attended Alexander Ramsey HS, then U of M Duluth, then graduated from U of M Mpls with degree in associated arts. Worked for Minnesota Highway Department and then Ramsey County Courts; retired as Ramsey County Supervisor of Vital Records. Carol was renowned for the depth of her friendships, her sweet nature, and her dedication to tasks including care of her aging mother. Carol loved birds, new places, old and quirky things, visual arts and color and design, Minne-sota's outdoors, and God's creation. She treasured her many friends. Deceased parents: Norma and Herbert Becker. Survived by sisters Linda Bryan (Steve) of Maplewood and Nancy Soli (Alan) of Marion, IA and nieces Anna Laura Bryan of Fairbanks AK, Rebecca Bryan of Duluth, Rachel Slater (Adam) of Cedar Rapids IA, nephew Michael Soli of St. Petersburg FL, and grandnephews Robert and Jeffrey Slater, as well as godchild Benjamin Coz of Duluth; was aunt to the children and relatives of all her friends.
