Marvin L. Bartlett

Bartlett, Marvin L. born in Minneapolis, April 22, 1930 to Inez (Hove) and Robert Bartlett, died January 7, 2018 following a valiant struggle with Spindle Cell Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James; first wife, Carol (Levercom); and canine companions, Charlie and Cindy. He is survived by second wife, Jeanne; sons, Terry (Deb), Mark (Koreen); step-son, Robert Eisen; and step- daughter, Jen (Sandor) Kiss; grandchildren, Chris (Liz), Evan, Kaela, Joe & Rob Bartlett, Natasha (Keith) Nyquist, Sebastian & Niko Kiss; and great-grandsons, Aleksandr & Bohdan Nyquist. Marv graduated from the University of Minnesota, a Mechanical Engineer. He retired 28 years ago from Honeywell/Alliant Techsystems where he was employed as a subcontract engineer. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. His interests included music (jazz accordionist), ballroom dancing, outdoorsman, traveler, canoeist and motorcyclist. A celebration of Marv's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 5151 Program Avenue, Mounds View, MN.
