Theft. A gun was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 17700 block of NW. Bluebird Street.
BLAINE

Theft. A 2008 Subaru Forester was stolen from a lot in the 8500 block of NE. Lexington Avenue. The vehicle had been left running.
OCT. 18
Theft. A 22-year-old man was arrested for theft after he was observed stealing cases of soda at Cub Foods, 10881 University Av. NE.
FRIDLEY

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report that a resident thought someone was forcing their way into a home in the 100 block of Christenson Court NE. They determined that a contractor, hired by the housing association, was repairing the front door.
GRANT
OCT. 16
Suspicious occurrence. A driver reported to authorities that his side window shattered while driving in the area of Dellwood Road and Jamaca Avenue. He said a truck had passed him going the other way when the incident occurred. He was told to call back if he finds a bullet or other object in the vehicle.
MAHTOMEDI

Crosswalk violation. A driver told a deputy she didn't come to a complete stop at the crosswalk at Wildwood Road and Wedgewood Drive because there might have been a vehicle behind her. When told she would be cited for not stopping, she said that she would contest it.
MAPLEWOOD

Traffic. A 26-year-old woman was cited for driving with a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt, and warned about texting while driving, near Minnehaha Avenue and Stillwater Road.
MOUNDS VIEW

Curfew violations. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 8100 block of Groveland Road. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for property damage and two 13-year-old boys, a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were arrested for curfew violation.

Theft. A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2800 block of 201st Avenue NW.
RAMSEY

Animal complaint. Officers responded to a report of a crowing chicken at a home in the 15300 block of NW. Jackal Street, but found no one there. A community service officer was going to follow up.
SCANDIA

Suspicious findings. Several Green Bay Packers items, a knife and what appeared to be a breakup letter were found in the area of Olinda Trail and Old Marine Trail.
