APRIL 18

Theft. A tailgate was stolen off a vehicle on the 14400 block of Eldorado Street NW.

APRIL 15

Traffic. A driver was given a verbal warning after slowing, but not stopping, for a pedestrian crossing the street in the area of Hamline and Hoyt avenues.

APRIL 17

Traffic. A driver in the area of Snelling and Garden avenues was given a verbal warning for not having license plates on the front and back of the vehicle, texting while driving and not having working brake lights.

APRIL 20

Traffic. A 25-year-old man was arrested and cited for driving after suspension, no proof of insurance and a cracked windshield in the area of Snelling and Roselawn avenues.

FRIDLEY

APRIL 14

Burglary. Two cats and miscellaneous items were stolen from an apartment on the 200 block of 57th Place NE. There were no signs of forced entry and the resident had left the door unlocked.

APRIL 15

Assist public. An upset mother, on the 1600 block of 69th Avenue NE, reported her 18-year-old daughter wouldn't answer her cell phone while at a party at an unknown location. Officers advised her that her daughter is an adult and there were no suspicious circumstances. She was instructed to call and report her missing if she hadn't returned home in the morning and there was a reason to fear for her safety.

APRIL 18

Burglary. Jewelry was stolen from a home on the 1000 block of 136th Lane NE. Forced entry was gained through the kitchen door.

NEW BRIGHTON

APRIL 21

Theft. Someone broke into a vehicle in the 2300 block of Silver Lake Lane and stole a cordless drill.

RAMSEY

APRIL 2

Dispute. Officers mediated a dispute between neighbors on the 5000 block of 179th Lane NW. The dispute was over leafblowing in the yard.

Animal complaint. A resident from the 6300 block of 164th Lane NW. reported chickens in their yard. It was unknown where the chickens came from.

APRIL 3

Animal complaint. A resident from the 1400 block of Waco Street NW. reported there was a duck in a live trap for rabbits. An officer advised her to release the duck and not to use that trap.

APRIL 5

Drugs. A 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after he was stopped for failing to stop at a stop sign on 150th Lane NW. and Ramsey Boulevard NW.

ST. ANTHONY

APRIL 11

Drugs. Two 16-year-old boys were arrested and cited for possession of marijuana and possession of tobacco at St. Anthony High School, 3303 33rd Av.

WOODBURY

APRIL 15

Suspicious activity. A restaurant in the 500 block of Commons Drive was alerted an underage customer had ordered alcohol with a fake ID. When the customer and her mother were confronted, they left. Police contacted the underage customer who told them she had since destroyed the fake ID.

APRIL 18

Driving complaint. Two vehicles were reported driving fast in the area of Harness Road and Harness View. The complainant said the vehicles parked and the juvenile occupants got out Nerf guns and left in one vehicle. The owners of both vehicles were contacted and told police they would handle the driving complaint with their sons.
