Theft. An unlocked Mazda 6 sedan was stolen from the 14500 block of Jonquil Street NW.

Arson. A 55-year-old man was arrested for arson in the 1300 block of 85th Avenue NE.

FEB. 18

Domestic. An officer responded to a report of an out-of-control woman at a home in the 300 block of NE. Mississippi Street. A 49-year-old mother and her 30-year-old daughter were arguing over a shirt. Both agreed to leave for the day.

LAUDERDALE

FEB. 13

Theft. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen overnight from a business in the 2500 block of Broadway Avenue. Security footage showed a suspect driving off with the vehicle.

Drugs. A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, giving false information to police, driving after suspension of license and having no proof of insurance in the 2400 block of Larpenteur Avenue.

Traffic. A deputy cited a driver for texting while driving after both were waiting at a stoplight in the 3300 block of Century Avenue.

Property damage. A grocery store in the 2700 block of Stillwater Road reported that, for the second time in a week, the wires to the loading dock alarm had been cut.

Animal concern. A deputy dispatched an injured owl near a snowmobile path in the 17000 block of Manning Trail.

Theft. A handgun was reported missing from the 5100 block of Rainbow Lane.

Drunken driving. An officer responded to a report of a vehicle parked half out of the driveway in the 7400 block of Silver Lake Road. A 31-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and carrying a pistol under the influence.

NEW BRIGHTON

FEB. 14

Theft. Cash totaling $100 and a driver's license were taken from a wallet that was accidentally dropped in a parking lot in the 2600 block of Rice Creek Road.

FEB. 13

Burglary. A burglary was reported at a home in the 6700 block of 207th Avenue NW., but nothing of value apparently was taken. Forced entry was gained through a doggy door.

FEB. 22

Theft. A 2005 Ford vehicle was stolen from the 18700 block of Ebony Street NW. The keys had been left in the vehicle.

Slumper. A man sleeping in a vehicle near Hilton Trail and Hwy. 36 told authorities that he had driven from Mora, Minn., and was napping while waiting to buy an attachment for a Bobcat.

Theft. Cash was stolen from an unlocked safe at Caribou Coffee, 2700 39th Av.
