Theft. A scooter was stolen from the 2100 block of 140th Lane NW.

Theft. Two hoverboards were stolen from the 14200 block of Crane Street NW.

Neighbor complaint. Authorities received a complaint about noisy dirt bikes and four wheelers being raced in the backyard of a home in the 3000 block of E. County Line Road. A deputy was unable to reach anyone at the home.

FRIDLEY

MAY 16

Check welfare. An officer went to check on the welfare of a man in the 5200 block of 3rd Street NE. who kept calling 911 in an attempt to reach the local Ford dealership. The man was told that 911 was to be used for emergencies only.

HAM LAKE

MAY 23

Theft. A purse was stolen from a home during a party in the 4500 block of Lexington Avenue NE. It was later found on a nearby walking trail.

LAKE ST. CROIX

MAY 17

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 1600 block of Quentin Avenue, concerned that her identification had been stolen, reported that she had received 11 pieces of mail from different banks listing her address but a different name.

LAUDERDALE

MAY 18

Protection order violation. A woman reported receiving text messages from someone against whom she had an order of protection. It was determined that she had received the messages before the order was served.

LINWOOD

MAY 16

Burglary. Cash, electronics and a gun were stolen from a home in the 6600 block of 230th Avenue NE. A bedroom window was smashed to gain entry.

MAPLEWOOD

MAY 16

Arson. A resident in the 300 block of Parkview Lane reported seeing an adult with two children who had been near a neighbor's fence that started on fire. They ran away when the complainant yelled at them.

Littering. The owner of a home in the 1700 block of Atlantic Street was cited for littering when a mattress from his property was left in the yard next door for at least a day.

NEW BRIGHTON

Theft. Two boxes were stolen from the front door of a home in the 500 block of 9th Avenue N.

ST. ANTHONY

MAY 23

Theft. Several vases valued at $4,500 were stolen from grave sites at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd.

STILLWATER TOWNSHIP

MAY 12

Suspicious activity. A couple doing yardwork in the 9000 block of Ottumwa Avenue reported finding ammunition rounds in their yard, apparently from a neighbor who was taking target practice. Authorities contacted the neighbor, who apologized and expressed concern that the bullets had traveled that far. He agreed to shift his target.
