Animal complaint. A police officer and an Animal Humane Society enforcement officer went to a home harboring more than 60 cats in the 7400 block of West Circle NE. According to police reports, the residents said they were willing to begin reducing the number of cats to comply with city code.

Property damage. A man in the 1700 block of Malvern Street was cited for criminal property damage after his neighbor caught him on video cutting a property line string.

Theft. Someone stole 60 pairs of shoes, 100 hats and more than 20 compact discs from an apartment garage in the 7600 block of Woodlawn Drive.

Theft. A bottle of perfume was stolen from a vehicle in the 2500 block of 15th Street.

Careless driving complaint. An officer stopped a motorcyclist he had clocked at going 90 to 100 mph for one mile. The motorcyclist explained that his throttle was stuck. He was driving with a revoked license, so his motorcycle was released to a valid driver.
JUNE 29
Suspicious activity. Police responded to a report of a woman taking a bicycle from a group of juveniles near 10th Street and Hallmark Avenue. The woman told police that an individual had called her to pick up her son's bike, which had been stolen a week before. The bike was returned to her son.
Ramsey

Domestic. Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault involving two sisters at a home in the 15700 block of Yakima Street NW. A 22-year-old woman was cited for fifth-degree domestic assault and her 36-year-old sister was later arrested for felony domestic assault.

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot of a golf course in the 9400 block of Alpine Drive NW. Two men, ages 38 and 42, were cited for disorderly conduct.

Theft. A man left his wallet on the counter at Chipotle, 2701 39th Av. NE. It was gone by the time he returned for it.
Woodbury

Neighbor complaint. A resident in the 11000 block of Eagle View Boulevard reported that his neighbor had cut a strip of grass on his property much shorter than normal. He told police that he asked the neighbor, via text, not to mow grass on his property. He said that when he saw the neighbor and asked if he'd received the text, the neighbor started swearing at him and threw a Frisbee at him, hitting a tree instead. The complainant requested the incident be noted for the record.
