Theft. A handgun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 23700 block of 3rd Street NE.

Neighbor complaint. A man in the 100 block of Birchwood Avenue, responding to a complaint that the band playing at his home was too loud, told authorities that he had spoken to city officials about the issue and that the music wasn't loud enough to violate the noise ordinance.

Theft. A puppy was stolen from Four Paws and a Tail, 120 Northtown Dr. NE.

Warrant arrest. A 29-year-old man was arrested on two Hennepin County warrants, one for felony stalking and the other for a misdemeanor.

Assist public. A 38-year-old woman in the 5900 block of East River Road NE. called police to see if they would contact her 15-year-old son and find out what time he was coming home.

Theft. A pontoon boat and trailer were stolen from the 5100 block of Industrial Boulevard NE.

JULY 24

Forgery/warrant arrests. Police responding to a disorderly conduct report in the 2600 block of White Bear Avenue arrested a man and woman on warrants and check fraud.

JULY 23

Animal assist. A deputy corralled a group of loose cattle into a pasture after finding them on and along Square Lake Trail west of St. Croix Trail.

MOUNDS VIEW

JULY 30

Assault. Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 2300 block of County Road I. A 50-year-old man was arrested for assault and violation of an order for protection against his 51-year-old wife. Officers returned to the home when the wife created a disturbance with the neighbors. She was arrested for disorderly conduct.

AUG. 1

Theft. Sport collectible cards valued at $15,000 were stolen from the 2400 block of County Road 10.

AUG. 8

Theft. A 2005 Dodge Caravan was stolen from the 7700 block of Silver Lake Road.

AUG. 7

Theft. A canoe was stolen from the yard of a home in the 21400 block of Lake George Drive NW.

JULY 22

Suspicious vehicle. A man and woman were reported sitting in a vehicle with smashed and shot-out windows near Goodwin Avenue and 43rd Street. The couple told an officer that the vehicle was damaged in St. Paul and they'd already made a report.

Theft. Someone stole change from a vehicle in the 100 block of 17th Avenue.

Burglary. A computer and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 2800 block of Coolidge Street.

JULY 26

Theft. A man reported his laptop was stolen while he left it unattended at Caribou Coffee, 2700 39th Av.
