The NFL did not suspend Clay Matthews for his blatant late hit on Colin Kaepernick last Sunday, which followed several days of intimidating tough talk.

They did decide to give him a fine of $15,000, which in relative dollars is a drop in the bucket. It's comparable, percentage-wise, to a couple of parking tickets for a middle-class earner.

Ridiculous.

Most parking tickets, of course, don't involve flying at someone's neck outside of the playing boundary (at least ours don't).
