Thousands of investigative documents in the Jacob Wetterling abduction and murder case were being released to the public Thursday morning, but not before the Stearns County sheriff pointed out numerous missed opportunities to catch the perpetrator in the days, weeks and months after the 11-year-old was kidnapped at gunpoint by a masked stranger in October 1989 and killed.
Photojournalist Glen Stubbe has been chief political photographer for the Star Tribune since 2011 and was business photographer and photo editor before that. He was named Visual MN Photographer of the Year twice in a row, first in 2015, and then combined 2016-2017.
