It is the nature of the 2017 Vikings that they solidified their status as one of the best teams in the NFC and maintained their two-game lead in the division without completely quelling questions about their quarterback position.
Case Keenum played as well as he ever has in his career...until the Vikings had built a seemingly insurmountable lead. Then he threw a ridiculously irresponsible interception, and then, on his next attempt, another.
The Vikings held on for a 38-30 victory on a day when Teddy Bridgewater cried tears of joy at being back on the active roster, and Keenum reminded a giddy fan base why he has lost starting jobs before.
At 7-2, the Vikings are in fine shape in the division and the conference and will be home on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. It will feel like a big game, but the Vikings won't be required to win it. They have built a margin for error.
Sunday, Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs produced big numbers and the Vikings' defense held just often enough.
As the game ended, only the Philadelphia Eagles had more than the Vikings' seven victories. Per their long-term and recent history, the Vikings will be preparing for a big game while answering questions about their quarterbacks.
