What a difference a couple weeks make. Just over two weeks ago the Lynx were 3-6, the offense looked troubled and the defense troublesome.

Now, on the heels of a four-game winning streak – the Lynx are the WNBA's hottest team heading into tomorrow's game with second-place Seattle Tuesday – things are looking better.

The most recent example: Lynx forward Maya Moore was named Western Conference player of the week for games played from June 18 through yesterday.

In that time – the Lynx went 3-0 – Moore averaged 34.3 minutes, 22.3 points, 4.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds.

It is no coincidence the Lynx never trailed in any of those three games with Moore – who won this award for the 18th time in her career – playing at that level.

Moore had 21 points vs. Dallas, 23 points at Phoenix and 23 more at Las Vegas yesterday.

Atlanta's Angel McCoughtry was named Eastern Conference player of the week.
