Mark Wollemann is a copy editor for the Star Tribune and a former sports editor. He worked at newspapers in Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Florida, California and New York before arriving in Minneapolis in 1991. 

Wollemann was born in Milwaukee, have lived all over the country and even in Bulgaria for four years while teaching journalism at the American University in Bulgaria. After a short stay in Chicago (and a cross-country bike ride), Wollemann and his wife returned to Minnesota in 2017 and he returned to the Star Tribune to work as a news copy editor and "slot" (final read) editor.
