Authorities have identified two people who recently died in separate car crashes, one in western Minnesota and the other in western Wisconsin.

A young man was killed Sunday morning when his Ford Explorer went off the road and rolled over in Yellow Medicine County, west of Canby, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Donald Mark Schuelke IV, 18, was eastbound on Hwy. 68 when his SUV veered into the ditch on the left side of the road, eventually rolling over. Schuelke, who was from Minneota, was ejected from the vehicle at 4:40 a.m.

Schuelke graduated this spring from Minneota High School. The State Patrol is investigating the crash. Schuelke wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Authorities have also identified the motorist killed in a two-vehicle collision near the western Wisconsin city of Ellsworth. Jason R. Hart, 30, of Ellsworth, was killed in the head-on crash last week, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office. Hart's wife is expecting the couple's first baby in July, according to her Facebook page.

Hart was driving east on Hwy. 10 west of Ellsworth late in the afternoon when it collided with another car in the westbound lane, the Sheriff's Office said. The other driver, Gail E. Leonard, 68, of Ellsworth, was taken to a Twin Cities hospital with life-threatening injuries.
