WASHINGTON – The Lynx looked like a team ready for the regular season in their two preseason games.

Rebekkah Brunson had 14 points and seven rebounds, and the Lynx ended their exhibition schedule with a 74-59 victory over Washington on Monday.

"I think we're in a good space as a group," coach Cheryl Reeve said. "We've been fortunate that we've had fairly decent health. … I think they're ready to play."

The Lynx, who didn't dress star forward Maya Moore (groin injury), will begin their quest for a fourth WNBA title when the regular season begins Sunday against Chicago at Xcel Energy Center, their home for this season as Target Center is being renovated.

BOXSCORE: Lynx 74, Washington 59

The Lynx won their first preseason game 113-67 over Atlanta on Friday at the X. This one was tougher, as they trailed 22-15 after one quarter before opening the second quarter on a 15-2 run. They then took control by outscoring the Mystics 23-8 in the third.

Minneapolis South product Tayler Hill scored seven points for Washington on 3-for-11 shooting, including 0-for-5 from three-point range, and committed five tunrovers.

"She's only practiced one full practice and bits of others in the last week or two, so she just needs to get some rhythm back on the court, get in the gym and get some shots up, but it's been tough," Mystics coach Mike Thibault said.
