Lindsay Whalen will be a part of eight Timberwolves broadcasts on Fox Sports North this season. Her stint will start Wednesday in Los Angeles, when the Wolves take on the Clippers. She will be on at 9 p.m. as part of the Wolves Live program, then will join the broadcast team of Dave Benz and Jim Petersen courtside for the start of the game.
The Lynx All-Star Guard will also join as an analyst for games on Dec. 12, Jan. 1, Jan. 14, Feb. 7, Feb. 23, March 2 and April 5.
Whaler is a five-time WNBA All-Star who has helped the Lynx to four league championships and has won two Olympic gold medals.
