A single-vehicle crash near a northern Minnesota resort killed two people and injured two others, authorities in Becker County said.

The wreck occurred about 1:50 a.m. Friday along County Hwy. 35, just west of Ice Cracking Lodge, the Sheriff's Office said.

Driver Philip Edward Warren, 56, of Mahnomen, Minn., and Lorraine Lynn Warren, 55, of Ponsford, Minn., were pronounced dead at the scene, the Sheriff's Office added.

Hospitalized were 44-year-old Cynthia Ann Jones, of Mahnomen, and 32-year-old Robert James Warren, of Ponsford. Authorities have yet to disclose the severity of their injuries.

The Sheriff's Office did not disclose which of the four was driving or what led to the vehicle leaving the road.
