St. Paul Public Schools is combining classic rock music and laser lights in a weeklong series of planetarium shows that will run Monday night through Saturday.

"Laser Week" events include the music of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles and others, and are being presented in the 55-seat planetarium at Como Park Elementary, 780 W. Wheelock Parkway.

"These shows feature eye-catching CGI visuals," Sarah Weaver, the planetarium's director, said in a news release. "This exciting experience will transport audiences and bring music to life in a whole new way."

Shows will be held nightly at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Admission is $7.

A kid-friendly version also will be offered each day at 5:30 p.m., at a cost of $5.
