Kieffer Bellows was taken 19th overall by the New York Islanders in tonight's NHL draft.

Riley Tufte of Blaine, who was Mr. Hockey in Minnesota this year, went 25th overall to the Dallas Stars.

Bellows, from Edina, played last season for the United States U-18 development program. The 6-foot, 200-pound winger has committed to Boston University.

He is the son of former North Stars standout Brian Bellows.
