Thirty-six years after 6-year-old Cassie Hansen was kidnapped, strangled and left in dumpster, a team of officers and a civilian were recognized for breaking one of St. Paul's most infamous murder cases during a ceremony at St. Paul Police Department's Western District office on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. The case was resolved at the time; the award is being issued today.
