Impact Hub MSP says it will usher in a new era of "relentless, unapologetic entrepreneurs, challengers, makers and trend-pushers" on the evening of March 9.
The "Werk It'' runway show will feature 30 of the Twin Cities' "most innovative and inspiring" social entrepreneurs in food, health, technology, energy, environment, community building, art and youth services.
"This is not a traditional business event," said Impact Hub MSP manager, Danielle Steer. "We're re-defining how MSP engages the entrepreneurial community and makes real impact."
She said the "runway stars'' represent a community dedicated to building bridges and closing gaps in new, creative ways..
Participants will have the chance to learn how companies such as Appetite for Change, which operates a popular W. Broadway Avenue restaurant on the northside; Hues Box , Bunker Labs , Hack the Gap, Juxtaposition Arts, which teaches and makes art out of four buildings on W. Broadway; Ecotone Analytics, Monicat Data , Faces of Hope and more.
Impact Hub MSP is partnering with Pollent Midwest and Events by Lady K on the North Loop event.
Impact Hub is part innovation lab, part coworking space, part civic forum. It boasts a diverse and growing community of innovators and entrepreneurs dedicated to driving positive change.
