Fall migration is underway for many species of birds, including the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds that nest in Minnesota. They're as likely to visit your nectar feeders now as in the spring, and perhaps hang around longer. It often takes rough fall weather to move them out of the state. During our Lutsen visit recently we had at least four hummingbirds visiting the cabin feeder, one adult female, one adult male, and two juveniles. The photos I like best captured an impression of hummer action.
