Side-panel draperies dress up uninteresting windows.
Plug-in chandeliers add light and touch of romance.

New hardware on dated cabinets gives them a refreshed look.
Area rugs camouflage dull or unsightly flooring or carpet.
Floating shelves add clean-lined character to a generic room.
New towels and sheets make even a small apartment feel more luxurious.
Candles (battery-operated) and live plants add warmth and ambience.
