Sorry for the delay in putting up today's (Thursday's) post...it has been a wild, active week so far for the Wolves and after catching the redeye back from Las Vegas, attending Michael Beasley's introductory press conference this afternoon and writing for the Friday paper, I was all typed out for a while.

The Wolves still haven't officially signed Luke Ridnour or Nikola Pekovic. Likely they are waiting to trade Ramon Sessions before signing Ridnour, although why, I'm not sure.

David Kahn gave no indication whether the Ridnour signing would be official on Friday, or beyond that.

"There isn't a holdup," he said. "I just don't want to talk about things until their done. Not that I'm nervous or anxious. You want to talk about things until they're finished."

Kahn said there's no snag in the Pekovic negotiations, doesn't believe there's any reason to think Pekovic will reconsider and stay in Europe and said he hopes to have all the paperwork signed within a wee

Darko Milicic is in town this week working out with assistant coach Dave Wohl and next week Darko, Beasley and perhaps Martell Webster will work out in L.A. under Kurt Rambis' supervision. Kevin Love won't be there because he'll be at the Team USA mini-camp in Las Vegas.

Al Jefferson, introduced today as a Jazz player in Salt Lake City, was invited to the mini-camp but declined, reportedly because he's been working hard on his body, game and healing knee and doesn't want to interrupt the process until he unveils all the hard work at training camp.

Darko will chat with us media type Friday afternoon for the first time since he re-signed with the team.

I'm beat from this week, so here are the stories from today's Beasley and Jefferson's news conference.
