Fresh off Sunday night's high-energy halftime performance at Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, pop star Justin Timberlake announced on Monday a second leg to his North American tour, with a Twin Cities show among the stops.

Timberlake has booked the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul for Sept. 28. Tickets go on sale to general public next Monday at 10 a.m. More information, include other purchase opportunities starting as soon as Wednesday, is at ticketmaster.com.

The concert at the X is one of 31 that Timberlake is adding across North America, as well as shows in Britain and other European locales.

During his 13-minute halftime act at U.S. Bank Stadium, Timberlake reeled off his array of hits and paid tribute to Minneapolis rock legend Prince by projecting video of him from the movie "Purple Rain" onto a large sheet as a bit of Prince's "I Would Die 4 U" played.

He then went across downtown Sunday night and appeared with host Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" at the Orpheum Theatre on Hennepin Avenue.

Timberlake's fourth studio album, "Man Of The Woods," was released Friday.
