The Gophers' Oct. 7 game at Purdue will be a 2:30 p.m. (Central) start and will be broadcast on ESPN2, the Minnesota athletic department announced Monday.
The Gophers (3-0) will try to stretch their winning streak against the Boilermakers to five games. In its last visit to West Lafayette, Minnesota won 41-13 in 2015. The Gophers won 44-31 at TCF Bank Stadium last year.
Purdue (2-2, 0-1 Big Ten) has been vastly improved this year under new coach Jeff Brohm. The Boilermakers pushed Louisville in the season opener before falling 35-28, beat Ohio U. 44-21, routed Missouri 34-2 in Columbia and lost 28-10 to Michigan on Saturday in a competitive game.
Coming off their bye week, the Gophers return to action at 11 a.m. Saturday against Maryland in their Big Ten opener at TCF Bank Stadium. The game will air on FS1.
