The clock is ticking at the seasonal restaurants in Minneapolis parks. The last day at Sandcastle on Lake Nokomis (pictured, above) is Oct. 8.

Tin Fish on Lake Calhoun (pictured, above, in a Star Tribune file photo) is also closing on Oct. 8th, and the dockside building's future is up to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board; co-owners Sheff and Athena Priest are not returning next year. Sad to report that the Edina iteration of Tin Fish — located in Braemar Park — closed for good on Tuesday.

Headed to Bread & Pickle at Lake Harriet (pictured, above, in a Star Tribune file photo)? You'e too late. Owner Kim Bartmann pulled the plug on the restaurant's seventh season this past Sunday.

As is its habit, Sea Salt Eatery in Minnehaha Park (pictured, above, in a Star Tribune file photo) is holding out for a few more weeks. The last day of its 2017 season is Oct. 22.

Meanwhile, on the St. Paul riverfront, Red River Kitchen at City House is also calling it quits on summer on Oct. 8, with one caveat: the restaurant is closed for a private party on Oct. 7, so plan accordingly.
