Preview: The streaky Wild (29-19-5) has a chance to make a run with a five-game homestand starting Thursday against the league-worst Arizona Coyotes (12-32-9). The Wild is currently clinging to the last wild-card spot, with the three teams behind it all within two points.
Players to watch: D Alex Goligoski, a Grand Rapids native, leads Arizona with 15 points in 30 games against the Wild while C Brad Richardson has 15 points in 32 games. C Derek Stepan is a Hastings native.
Numbers: The Wild is on an 11-game point streak against Arizona, a 9-0-2 record that stretches back to Jan. 9, 2014. That is the longest in franchise history against any fellow NHL team.
Injuries: Arizona F Dave Bolland (lower body) and F Jason Demers (upper body) are out. Wild D Jonas Brodin (upper body) is out.
