Minnesota Duluth scored four goals in a row to break open a tie game Friday night in a 6-4 victory over host Omaha in the NCHC.

With the score 2-all, the No. 2 Bulldogs (9-2-2, 6-1 conference) took the lead on Dominic Toninato's goal at 9 minutes 11 seconds of the second period. Alex Iafallo made it 4-2 with an unassisted goal at 13:30.

Billy Exell and Karson Kuhlman increased the lead to 6-2 with goals in the first 10 minutes of the third before the Mavericks (6-4-1, 3-2) scored twice in the final 6½ minutes. Steven Spinner had two goals for Omaha, both on power plays, and Luc Snuggerud had a third goal with a man advantage and an assist.

North Dakota 4, St. Cloud State 0: Shane Gersich had a hat trick and Cam Johnson stopped 26 shots as No. 8 UND (6-4-2, 1-3-1) beat the No. 12 Huskies (6-5, 2-3) in St. Cloud. Gersich, a sophomore from Chaska, gave the Fighting Hawks a 1-0 lead on a power play in the 17th minute of the opening period then scored twice in 1:19 late in the second period. He has nine goals.

Penn State 7, Arizona State 4: Denis Smirnov had a hat trick and Andrew Sturtz two goals as the No. 10 Nittany Lions (10-1-1) beat the visiting Sun Devils (2-10).

Ohio State 4, RPI 0: Nick Schilkey scored his 11th and 12th goals of the season and Matt Tomkins stopped 28 shots as the No. 14 Buckeyes (7-1-4) beat the visiting Engineers (2-9-1).

Wisconsin 3, Merrimack 2: Max Zimmer's power-play goal at 1:36 of the third period proved to be the winner as the Badgers (6-3) edged the Warriors (4-6-3) at the Kohl Center. Luke Kunin and Jake Linhart also scored for the Badgers.

Bemidji St. 2, Northern Michigan 1: Brendan Harms and Gerry Fitzgerald scored first-period goals, 2½ minutes apart, and Michael Bitzer made 16 saves to lead the No. 13 Beavers (10-2-1, 10-0-1) over the visiting Wildcats (3-9-1, 1-7-1).
