Minneapolis-based Target is recalling about 127,000 decorative Halloween gel window "clings" because they pose a choking hazard to children.

The recall of the Chinese-made window adornments, announced last week by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), was issued because the clings can come apart, exposing a small decal and two button-sized batteries.

"Consumers should immediately remove the recalled gel clings from areas with children and return them to any Target store for a full refund," the agency said in its announcement.

The clings light up with the push of a finger and come in six designs: green skeleton, pink skeleton, purple spider, black cat, orange pumpkin and black bat.

No injuries have been reported to the CPSC or Target from the product, which was sold at Target stores nationwide in August and September for about $1.
