Once again, I found myself grasping for the Kleenex box at breakfast with my paper in hand. I was reading Kim Ode's article on Saturday about baby Sydney Stephens and her dedicated mother, Sylvie.

Sydney was born with congenital heart defect. Sylvie pumped breast milk for her throughout her stay at the hospital until Sydney passed away at six months. She donated her surplus to the milk bank through Fairview Health Services and her daughter's legacy lives on through helping other babies survive.
