Classes at Herzing University in Crystal were disrupted Monday night after someone phoned in a bomb threat, police said.

A student was in the library when he received a call on his cellphone at 7:05 p.m. The caller said "there is a bomb where you are right now" and hung up, said Crystal Police Chief Stephanie Revering.

Students and faculty were evacuated from the building at 5700 West Broadway.

The Minneapolis Bomb Squad, and police K-9 officers searched the building, but nothing suspicious or unusual was found, Revering said.

Crystal police and the West Metro Fire Relief District also responded.

No one was hurt.

The school trains students for careers in technology, business, health care, design and public safety.
