The Wolves' summer-league team roster is out with rookie Justin Patton on it, even though he won't play in Las Vegas starting Saturday because of a broken bone in his left foot that has sidelined him indefinitely.
Without him, undrafted players V.J. Beachem (Notre Dame), Deonte Burton (Iowa State), Charles Cooke (Dayton), Amile Jefferson (Duke) as well as 2016 NCAA Final Four star Marcus Paige from North Carolina.
Paige, you might remember, made that clutch three-point shot with 4.7 seconds left that tied the title game, but Villanova's Kris Jenkins' three-pointer just before the final buzzer trumped his for a 77-74 Nova win.
Paige played for Utah's Salt Lake City D-League team last season.
The Wolves open their Vegas summer league play Saturday against Toronto with a 5:30 p.m. Central time game scheduled for broadcast on NBA TV.
Wolves assistant coach Ryan Saunders will coach the summer-league team once again.
