The Minnesota Zoo's most popular seasonal attraction returns Friday with a whole new litter of cute miniature animals for visitors to gawk at.
"Farm Babies" allows guests to feed and pet some of their favorite barnyard friends. The event, which typically draws up to 10,000 visitors a day, runs through April 30.
The zoo's newest tenants will include calves, baby goats, lambs, piglets, chicks, ducklings and more.
Officials hope the immersive exhibit will allow Minnesotans to experience the sights, sounds and smells of farm life, said Dave Frazier, the zoo's vice president of operations.
Farm Babies is included in regular admission — $12 for kids, $18 for adults.

Daily activities:
• Hay maze in the hayloft: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Cow milking demonstration: 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.
Weekend activities:
• Tram rides: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• April 14-15: Family craft activity, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• April 14-15: Face painting, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• April 15: Peter Rabbit costume character, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• April 8-23: Animal enrichment around the zoo.
