Drafted: Sixth round in 2012 by Boston. He was drafted in 2010 in the 46th round by Cleveland but did not sign.

Acquired: Trade with Angels and Padres after Rule 5 draft on Friday. Haley was taken eighth by the Angels from Boston.

Last season: Split season between AAA Pawtucket and AA Portland. Was 8-6 with a 3.59 ERA in 15 games (14 starts) for Pawtucket and 5-4 with a 2.20 ERA in 12 starts for Portland.

Currently: Haley is pitching for Leones del Escogido in the Dominican Winter League, where he is 2-0 with a 0.38 ERA and .068 WHIP in 24 innings.

Family: Married two weeks ago to Casey Winn.
